Virtual Reality is an interactive medium with a unique ability to give the user a sense of being in a different place. Luckily, the tools used to create these experiences are the same as the ones used in game development such as Unity3D. We’re pushing this technology further by developing a quick, cost-effective way of creating believable characters that can convey a wide range of emotion. The video above demonstrates how the process of photogrammetry can be used to digitize an existing face and then tailor it to the interactive experience.
